STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE | |
1 box yellow cake mix 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip, thawed 1/2 pkg. or 1/2 jar strawberry glaze 1 qt. fresh strawberries or 2 qtsp. thawed, well drained, frozen Make cake according to package directions, except use a large pan (10 1/2 x 14 1/2) or equivalent cake pan for a thinner cake. After the cake is done, cool thoroughly. Blend cream cheese and Cool Whip. Smooth on top of cake. Next, mix glaze with strawberries. Top cake with this and chill overnight. |
