EASY STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE | |
1 box yellow or white cake mix 1 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jello 1 c. hot water 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed 1 sm. Cool Whip Bake cake as directed on package in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Mix Jello with hot water. Poke holes in cake and pour Jello over it; cool in refrigerator. When ready to serve, combine Cool Whip and strawberries with juice. Spread on top and enjoy. |

I used angel food cake mix instead of white, definitely was a light, delicious dessert.
I suggest getting two containers of cool whip. One wasn't really enough.
