GERMAN NUT BREAD 
1/2 lb. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
8 oz. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1-2 c. chopped nuts
10 oz. maraschino cherries, strained

Cream butter and sugar in large bowl. Add eggs, baking powder, and flour; mix well. Fold in sour cream. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Pour into well-greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until browned.
