GERMAN BREAD | |
1 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 pkgs. yeast 1/4 c. warm water 2 beaten eggs 6 c. flour Scald milk, stir in butter, salt and sugar, cool. Dissolve yeast in water. Add yeast, beaten eggs and flour. Mix and knead lightly. Place in greased bowl and let rise, cut into equal parts and place in two loaf pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. |
