DATE BALLS 
1 (1/2 lb.) pkg. dates
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies

Mix dates, eggs, sugar and butter and cook for 10 minutes, stirring all the time. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies. Form into balls. Roll balls in finely crushed nuts or coconut.

Makes about 40 balls.
