DATE BALLS 
1 1/2 c. chopped dates
1 beaten egg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Coconut

Cook dates, egg, sugar and butter slowly for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Add vanilla, Rice Krispies and nuts. Cool. Shape into small balls and roll in coconut.
