2 c. pecans
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 rind of orange or vanilla

Boil water and sugar until a thin syrup forms. Flavor with one rind or orange or vanilla. Mix pecans into syrup and pour on greased surface. Break into pieces while warm.
