MOM'S SUGARED PECANS | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 1/4 c. boiling water 1 1/2 c. pecan halves 1 tsp. vanilla In medium saucepan, combine sugar, cinnamon and cream of tartar. Add boiling water and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Cook without stirring to soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add pecans and vanilla. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon until syrup turns to sugar on pecans. |
