PRALINE PIE 
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Whip cream
Vanilla pudding or pie filling

Heat butter and sugar until melted. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell and spread over bottom. Bake at 450 degrees for 5-10 minutes or until brown and bubbly. Let cool. While cooling, prepare vanilla pudding and pie filling (NOT INSTANT). Mix as directed for pie filling. Cool for 5 minutes and pour over pecan pie shell. Refrigerate until soft, BEST OVERNIGHT. Top with sweetened whipped cream when serving.
