PATRICIA'S PASTA CRAB SALAD | |
1 pkg. imitation crab meat (Walmart has the best) 1 (12 oz.) pkg. spiral colored noodles (I use Barilla Tri-color rotini) 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 4 green onions 1 cup real mayonnaise 1 cup Miracle Whip 1/4 cup poppy seed dressing 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. dill weed 1/2 tsp. garlic 1 tbsp. parsley 1/2 tsp. basil 1/4 cup green olives 3 tbsp. olive juice Boil noodles according to package directions. Make sure they are firm, then drain and run cold water over top till all noodles are cool. Set aside. In a bowl add all ingredients except crab, noodles and olives. Mix all together until smooth (may have to warm the cream cheese to soften -- not too warm). Break apart the crab and add to mixture, then add your cool noodles. Slice green olives and add to salad.
