HUNGARIAN CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 med. head cabbage
1 lg. can sauerkraut
1 lg. can tomato juice
1 1/2 lb. ground pork
3/4 c. uncooked rice (no Minute rice)
Garlic powder
Salt and pepper
1/2 onion
1 egg
Black pepper
Paprika

Prepare cabbage leaves by: cutting core from head of cabbage, place cabbage in pan of gently boiling water, steam until leaves peel off easily, place leaves on a platter to cool.

FILLING:

1 1/2 lb. ground pork
3/4 c. washed rice
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
1/2 onion, chopped
1 egg
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Mix together. Place a handful of mixture on cabbage leaf and roll up, tucking in the ends. Place some sauerkraut on bottom of pan. Place cabbage rolls into pan. Place the rest of the sauerkraut on top. Pour 1 can tomato juice over the top. Cook slowly on medium heat for approximately 2 1/2 hours.
