CREAM CHEESE FILLED MEATLOAF | |
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger 1 lb. Jimmy Dean pork sausage 1 1/2 c. Italian bread crumbs 2 eggs 1 sm. onion, diced Salt and pepper to taste CREAM CHEESE FILLING: 12 oz. (1 1/2 pkgs.) cream cheese 1 tbsp. mustard 1 tbsp. horseradish 2 tbsp. milk Mix all hamburger ingredients together. Take a square casserole dish. Spread mixture to cover bottom and half of sides. Place cream cheese mixture over hamburger. Put rest of hamburger mixture on top and seal sides. Bake as meat loaf for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350°F. Remove grease as meat loaf bakes. Cream cheese should be at room temperature. Milk can be added to make it creamier, more mustard, horseradish, to make more tangier. |
