PRAIRIE FIRE DIP 
1 c. (1/2 of 15 1/2 oz. can) refried beans
1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Provolone cheese
1/3 c. beer or water
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp. chili powder
Dash of hot pepper sauce
Lg. corn chips

In saucepan, combine the beans, cheese, beer or water, butter, onion, garlic, chili powder and hot pepper sauce. Heat and stir until hot through, about 5 to 10 minutes. Transfer to small fondue pot. Serve with corn chips. Makes about 1 1/4 cups dip.
