BAKED STEAK 
1 (4 lb.) sirloin steak, 2 inches thick
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom caps

SAUCE:

1 c. catsup
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. minced garlic, dry may be used
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
Kitchen Bouquet as needed for brushing
Salt and pepper, to taste

Brush steak with Kitchen Bouquet and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown quickly about 3 inches from the broiler (brown both sides). Remove the rack from the broiler pan and place the steak inside the pan, drain the fat off.

To make the sauce combine the catsup, Worcestershire sauce, melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, and sliced mushrooms. Spread this over the steak, arrange the onion slices and mushroom caps on top. Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, about 1 hour. Serves 8.
