POPPY SEED SUPPER LOAF | |
1 loaf French bread 1 stick butter 1/2 lb. bacon 1 tbsp. yellow mustard 1 tbsp. brown mustard 1 tbsp. poppy seeds 1/2 c. chopped onions 4 oz. Swiss cheese slices Mix butter, mustards, poppy seeds and onions. Slice bread diagonally, not quite all the way through. Spread mixture generously on each side. Place 1/2 slice cheese in each fold. Cross bacon slices over loaf. Place on foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. |
