ORIENTAL CABBAGE SALAD 
6 to 8 c. chopped cabbage
1 pkg. Oriental flavored Ramen noodles, broken up (best to break with fist while still in unopened package)
3/4 c. slivered almonds
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/2 c. oil or less
3 tbsp. sugar ( I use 3 to 4 packets of Equal)
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 env. Ramen seasonings

Toast almonds and sesame seeds in pan on range top without oil. Add red wine vinegar to oil and add sugar and seasoning packet. Add liquid to cabbage. I use a good bowl with a tight fitting lid and shake it after adding oil and vinegar mixture. Just before serving add nuts and broken up Ramen noodles so they stay crisp. For a complete meal, add cooked cooled chicken breast (cut up) to salad. For color you can also add shredded carrots and red cabbage.
