ORIENTAL CABBAGE SALAD 
1 head cabbage, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. rice wine vinegar (found in Oriental food section)
1 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 pkg. Ramen noodles (chicken flavor)
1 1/2 c. sliced almonds
1/8 c. sesame seeds
1 tbsp. vegetable oil

Combine sugar, rice wine vinegar, vegetable, salt and pepper and shake well. Crush the Ramen noodles and remove flavor packets. Crush while still in bag with your hands. Heat skillet to medium to medium-low heat; add oil, noodles, almonds and sesame seeds. Allow to brown, stirring frequently. If you don't stir often, these will burn. Let cool. Add flavor packets to ingredients and mix well. Keep mixtures separated until ready to serve. Mix well. Best if served at room temperature.
