1/4 c. hot apple cider
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground mace
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. hot mashed sweet potatoes

Heat cider with all spices. Add butter and stir to melt. Add this hot liquid to sweet potatoes and whip together. Bake in a well buttered 1 quart casserole dish covered for 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Serves 6.
