SPICE POTATO CAKE 
3 c. cake flour
1 1/2 c. cold mashed potatoes
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. milk
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
3 eggs
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans or 1 9 x 13 inch pan. Into large bowl measure all ingredients. Blend 4 minutes. Pour batter into pans and bake 35 to 40 minutes. Frost with cream cheese frosting when cool.

Frosting:
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
16 oz. pkg. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk (about)

Beat softened cream cheese with vanilla and salt. Add powdered sugar until blended. Add 2 tablespoons milk or more to spreading consistency.
