PEANUT BRITTLE 
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cube butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
Raw Spanish peanuts

Combine sugar, white corn syrup and water. Cook until soft ball. Add peanuts. Cook until hard crack. Add remaining ingredients. Stir until butter melts. Spread until thin on 2 buttered cookie sheets. Cool. Crack into pieces.
