BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 lbs. round steak, cut in cubes
1 can consomme
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 tbsp. soy sauce
Pepper to taste
1 c. water
Cornstarch
1 c. sour cream
Cooked rice

Brown together mushrooms, onion and steak. Add consomme, mushroom soup and soy sauce. Bring to rolling boil and simmer about 2 hours. Use NO salt, just pepper to taste. You may need to thicken with up to 1 cup water and cornstarch. Add sour cream just before serving. Serve over cooked rice.
