3 c. sugar 3/4 c. butter 2/3 c. (5 1/3 oz.) evaporated milk 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces 7 oz. jar Kraft marshmallow 1 c. chopped nuts 1 tsp. vanilla Mix sugar, butter and milk in heavy 2 1/2 quart saucepan, bringing to full boil. Stir constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes over medium heat. Stir constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate pieces until melted. Add marshmallow cream, nuts and vanilla. Beat by hand until well blended. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan. Cool at room temperature. Makes 3 pounds. Takes about 15-20 minutes to make and tastes fabulous. |
