1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
10 large marshmallows
1 cup chocolate, peanut butter or vanilla chips
1/2 cup nuts (optional)

In a big microwave safe container combine butter, sugar and evaporated milk. Microwave on high 3 minutes. Stir. Microwave again 3 minutes (watch that it doesn’t boil over!)

Pour over the chips, mix well. Add marshmallows stir until dissolved. I use a mixer for combining the last 2 ingredients. Pour into a greased/cooking spray pan or pans.

This recipe makes 4 mini pie plates for gift giving.
