MICROWAVE EASY FUDGE
1 lb. powdered sugar (1 lb. = 3 1/2 c. sifted)
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 c. milk (4 tbsp.)
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Lightly grease an 8-inch square dish or line with wax paper. Set aside. Place powdered sugar and cocoa in a medium-sized, heat-resistant mixing bowl. Stir to mix. Add milk and butter to sugar and cocoa mix. DO NOT STIR.

Heat uncovered on HIGH for 2 minutes. After heating, stir just to combine ingredients. Add vanilla and nuts. Stir until blended. Pour into prepared dish; refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Cut and serve.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for such an easy recipe! I have a bake sale and needed a quick and easy recipe! More importantly I had everything on hand, no special "cook to a soft ball" directions. Straightforward, easy cooking!

KICKED IT UP A NOTCH! Mixed regular cocoa and dark cocoa and used Roasted Almonds for the nuts. Everyone that ate it asked where I bought it from. When I told them I made it, they couldn't believe it. AWESOME and EASY!

I'm addicted! I keep making batches for myself! I added a little less sugar and a little more cocoa for a darker chocolate taste. I also added in dried berries and pecans. Yum!

This is the easiest fudge recipe I have ever used. It never fails. I add more chopped pecans, up to a cup. You can also add 1 cup of crunchy peanut butter for peanut butter fudge.

I had this recipe hand written into an old cookbook from about 25 years ago, hadn't seen the book in ages, no where to be found, I googled "easy microwave fudge" and the first recipe to pop up was it, I an ecstatic. So glad did not have to rely on my memory to make it... and thanks for the peanut butter substitution so many mentioned, can't wait to try it.

This seems to be a great recipe. I make treats very seldom only around Holidays. When I do make treats I must work with recipes as some of the people prepare things for are diabetic. These treats must be safe for them too. I have learned that one of the sweetener companies makes a sweetener can be poured in the blender and lightly blended and made into powdered sugar. I say lightly blended because no one wants to turn the sugar into total dust, just powdered sugar. There is no after taste to this sweetener. Many people I have served it to did not know it was not really sugar. I have made fudge before with this sweetener but I have lost the recipe. Now I will try this recipe. For now I will leave it at Neutral but my hopes are that it will be at least a 4

After spending the morning making old fashioned fudge with the candy thermometer and watching constantly until just the right temperature and having it fail miserably into cocoa flavored rocks, I found this recipe. And it was easy. And it worked. And it's DELICIOUS!!! It is creamy and crumbly. I did put a teeny bit of salt in it (1/8 teaspoon) because I like a little salty/sweet flavor in my fudge. But this was divine. Thank you!
