BUTTERMILK PIE 
1 lg. or sm. pie crust, chilled
1 c. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla flavor

In a large bowl, mix together sugar, salt and flour. Add one at a time the buttermilk, egg yolks, and vanilla. Beat 3 egg whites until stiff and fold into custard mix. Pour into pie crust. Drizzle with 1/4 cup melted butter. Bake for 10 minutes at 425 degrees. Reduce heat to 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
