GLAZED HAM SAUCE | |
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple, drained (any kind) 1 (21 oz.) can peaches, drained (any kind) 1 (8 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained 1 (15 oz.) can apricot halves, drained 1 (15 oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce (not jellied) 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup honey 1 tsp. cinnamon powder Drain all fruit (you can mix the juices in the same bowl - do not drain the cranberry sauce). Place the drained fruit into a blender or mixer, add the whole cranberries to the fruit and mix all ingredients together on LOW. When mixed, add brown sugar, honey and cinnamon. Continue mixing on LOW. In a saucepan, cook over medium heat until all ingredients are incorporated together. Cool and place in refrigerator until you are ready to use it. One hour before ham is ready, add this glaze to your ham and keep basting. Reserve any remaining glaze and pour a bit of it on the ham on your plate :) Submitted by: Raine |
