CHILI BEEF STEW 
1 1/2 lbs. round or chuck steak, cut in 1 inch cubes
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 can (1 lb.) tomatoes
1 can (4 oz.) green chiles, chopped, seeded
1 can (1 lb.) red kidney beans

Brown cubed steak in butter. Add all ingredients above. Bring to boil and then simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

Tip: Serve in bowls and sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese. Serves 4.
