CHILI BEEF STEW 
2 lb. beef stew meat
1 c. sm. white beans
1 c. pinto beans
5 c. water
3 lb. flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 lg. onion, chopped

Combine flour and salt. Dredge beef cubes and brown in shortening in Dutch oven. Add beans and the rest of ingredients. Cook until tender.
