7 - UP JELLO SALAD 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 c. regular 7-Up
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drain & reserve
3 lg. ripe bananas (sliced thin)
2 c. miniature marshmallows

TOPPING:

1 pt. whipping cream, whipped
1 tsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1 egg
Pineapple juice & water to make 1 cup

Dissolve Jello and water in a 14 x 11 x 2 1/2 inch dish. Stir in 7-Up, pineapple and bananas; mix well. Add marshmallows last and mix well. Chill until set.

Topping: Combine butter, sugar, flour and egg in a saucepan; creamed until smooth. Add pineapple juice; mix well. Cook oven medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat. Chill until cold. Put whipping cream in deep bowl and whip until stiff. Blend in cold topping and mix well. Spread over gelatin. (I tried topping in microwave. Comes out great. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring once or twice.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
