GLAZED ONIONS AND CARROTS 
1 lb. carrots
1 pkg. 916 oz.) frozen whole onions
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Peel and cut carrots into 1/2 inch pieces. Place carrots in 1 inch boiling water. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add onions. Cover and cook 5 minutes longer. Drain, add butter, brown sugar, ginger and salt. Stirring frequently; cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until vegetables are glazed. Makes 4 cups very good!
