GLAZED ONIONS & CARROTS 
1 lb. carrots
1 pkg. frozen whole onions (white, preferably)
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. salt

Peel and cut into 1/2" slices the carrots. Place carrots in large saucepan with 1" boiling water. Cook 10 minutes. Add onions. Cook 5 minutes; drain. Add butter, sugar, ginger and salt. Stir frequently. Cook for 5 minutes or until vegetables are glazed. Makes about 4 cups.
