HOLIDAY NUGGETS 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

In a mixing bowl, cream butter, butter and sugar. Blend in vanilla and almond. Gradually add flour and salt. Stir in nuts. Shape into 1 1/4 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with fingers.

Bake at 325°F for 25 minutes. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and colored, crystallized sugar.

Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
