GINGER SNAPS 
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. molasses
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon, cloves and ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. flour

Cream all together, but flour, then add flour, should be a stiff dough - if not you may have to add a little more flour. Make into small balls, dip in sugar, turn sugar side up and bake until brown at 350 degrees (keep fingers dipped in water and it will prevent them from sticking to your fingers).
