I looked and looked for the original recipe for banana Nut Bread and finally got it ... I am so pleased ... please put the original recipe back on the Jiffy box instead of the new recipe ... I love Jiffy mix, use it for biscuits too ... keep making it ...

I agree with Pat... The original, on the box recipe was the best, every one I ever made for others was called "the best" banana bread ever! Please put it back on the box!

i have been using this recipe for years. Everyone loves it. Please put the old one back on the box, taking the new one off. The new one isn't as good.

Message for Jiffy: Please put the old recipes back on the box. Banana nut bread, muffins and biscuits, etc.. The new recipes are not used as frequently.

To Jiffy: I have spent the amount of time it would have taken to put together and bake this recipe, looking for the original recipe that I have used for years. I don't want to take time to use the computer (it's usually down anyway) to search, nor do I want to try a new recipe. Please put the original one back on the box. My bread could be cooling now and about to be consumed, but I've wasted time searching. I even have your recipe mixes book and it's not in there either. Wake up people!

Why would you change the original recipe? It is the best banana bread ever. I read the one on the box I just purchased, and knew it wasn't right. The original doesn't have cream cheese or vanilla. It also has 1C of sugar, not 3/4, and 3 bananas, not a cup. Thank goodness I found the original online.

Hooray! I have been on the internet looking for this simple recipe way to long this Easter morning. Thanks to the person who led me to this, or I would still be out looking for Easter eggs. Tell the companies to please stick to the classics. New ideas on holidays etc. Only!!

Love this recipe!! Used it for probably 20 years. Thank goodness I had it written down because you took it off the box! It is much better than the new one on the box.

I agree with the other posters who do not care for the new version of the banana bread. The addition of cream cheese to the recipe reduces the goodness of the banana flavor. Thank you to whoever posted the original recipe. I always look to Jiffy mixes as the basis of many meals during the month. They are affordable and the recipes are just right for a busy working woman. I really do not have time for the very involved recipes posted at other websites.

Kept this recipe for many years and lost it recently in a remodel. Tried the new recipe with cream cheese and DISLIKED it! Soooo happy to find this tried and true recipe again! Want the new recipe back on the box!
