CHOCOLATE MOUSSE FROSTING 
3 c. heavy cream
1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
3/4 c. cocoa powder
Dash of salt

In a chilled bowl blend ingredients, then whip until mixture holds a peak. Frosts 2 (9 inch) round layers, split in half plus sides and top. Refrigerate.

I've made this frosting several times on a dark chocolate cake. Definitely a huge favorite. I use both regular cocoa powder and dark chocolate cocoa powder in the frosting and I get rave reviews every time.
