BUTTERY SHRIMP DE JONGHE | |
2/3 c. Land O Lakes Sweet cream butter 2 tbsp. dried chives 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen cocktail size (1 1/2 inch) shrimp (not breaded), thawed, drained 1 1/2 c. crushed thin bacon flavored crackers Preheat oven 350 degrees. In heavy 2 quart saucepan melt butter over medium heat (4 to 5 minutes). Add chives, garlic powder and pepper; stir to blend. Dip shrimp into melted butter then roll in crumbs to coat. Layer shrimp in 8 inch (1 1/2 quart) baking dish. Add remainign crumbs to remaining butter; stir to blend. Sprinkle shrimp with remaining crumbs. Bake near center of 350 degrees oven for 24 to 30 minutes or until shrimp are tender. Yield: 4 servings. |
