CELERY HOT DISH | |
4 c. (1 inch) celery slices Simmer in small amount water for 8 minutes until still crisp. Cover pan. Mix celery with 1 (5 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1/4 cup pimento. Pour into 1 quart casserole. Toss 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 cup slivered almonds and 2 tablespoons melted butter on top. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. |
