IRISH SCONE 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Blend into 3 tablespoons soft butter. Work in with fingers.

1/2 c. raisins (soak in hot water then drain)
1 egg in 1 c. fill with buttermilk to equal 1 c.
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend all ingredients together. Put into greased pie pan, sprinkle with granulated sugar before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
