BIG GAME BBQ BEANS 
Great for Crock-Pot use!

2 cups dry beans
1 1/2 cups diced red onion
1 tbsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried basil
1 large jalapeno, diced
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. hickory liquid smoke
2 cups ham with fat, diced into 1-inch cubes
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup ketchup (Hunts)
1 cup barbecue sauce (your choice)

In a large pot or slow cooker, cook beans according to directions. Add all of the above ingredients to cooked beans. Turn on heat as low as possible, simmer for 4 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally.

Tip: Add stale beer to keep consistency as desired!
