TOURTIERE 
2 lbs. fresh ground pork
1/2 lb. ground beef
10 saltines
1 med. onion, chopped
Salt and pepper
1 3/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
Garlic salt, if desired

Cook onions in water until tender and water is evaporated. Add meat and simmer until meat changes color. Add seasonings half way through cooking. Crumble about 10 small saltines and add until fat is absorbed. Bake in 425 degree oven for 40 minutes. Makes 2 pies.
