1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. warm coffee
2 1/8 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 lg. pkg. chocolate chips

Cream sugar and shortening. Add remaining ingredients. Spread this stiff mixture on a greased cookie pan to 1/2 inch thickness. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Leave in cookie pan. While still warm frost with a thin powdered sugar frosting.
