CRUNCH POUND CAKE 
1 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
9 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. lemon

Cream butter and sugar until well mixed; add eggs 1-2 at a time. Mix well, add flour and flavor. Mix well. Pour into topping and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours or until straw or toothpick comes out clean. Let stand 15 minutes before turning cake out of pan.

TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 c. crushed pecans
3/4 stick butter
1/3 c. sugar

Mix all ingredients together. Grease pan with butter (9 x 16). Pat mixture in bottom and up sides of pan.
