It wasn't as thick as I'd like it to be so added about 2/3 milk, 8 strawberries an also added some blueberries and sunny D in which made it very good, also a little more sugar than called for bout 4 tsp & 12 icecubes..overall its a really good smoothie my first time making one period

This recipe is delicious with a few changes. I used a frozen banana (sliced before freezing) and 4 frozen strawberries. I also used 1 cup of milk instead of 1/2. A dash a vanilla extract and 1 1/2 tsp sugar. This smoothie was cold, thick, and delicious without ice cubes or ice cream!

I really liked it but I would like it better if it was sweeter.

 Haylee (Washington) says:
It was good, but not much flavor. And I like mine thicker.

This is delicious, my first time and it is good.

Tastes amazing but for me I like it to be a little sweeter and thicker. For that extra sweetness I add just a little bit of honey and for thickness I freeze the banana. This makes it more like a milkshake without the ice cream.

Instead of adding the ice add vanilla yogurt. It will make the smoothie more thick and delicious!

I would put 6-7 strawberries! 4 was not enough.. I could taste way too much banana but I guess it depends on preference :) This recipe did help me figure out what I liked though and how to make one ;)

This is my favorite smoothie ever! I love making it. I used frozen yogurt to make it creamy and thick, or more ice

I use 1-2 packs of splenda instead of sugar and low-fat strawberry or vanilla yogart for a creamier smoothie and it is healthy and tastes great!

I used the following.

4 strawberries.
1/2 c. of milk.
1 banana.
5 ice cubes.
1/2 cup of Yoplait vanilla yogurt.

Since I wanted something healthy-ish, I did not add any sugar. For my first time making a smoothie, it was delicious.

Needed to add the following: yogurt, vanilla extract and vanilla sugar. That made it sweeter and thicker. Using this recipe is good base for adding other items, like: blueberries, raspberries, chocolate powder, peach, mango, pineapple and for the adults, maybe some rum.

 Rabiyah (Georgia) says:
If you want thicker & creamier you should add a few teaspoons of banana or strawberry or strawberry banana yogurt. Otherwise I like it

 Joanie (Oregon) says:
I would definitely use yogurt to thicken this instead of ice cream. It's a smoothie, not a milkshake. Without the ice cream, it's a great way to provide fruit to kids and not have them think fruit = dessert.
