HUGS AND KISSES VALENTINE CAKE 
Perfect for Valentines Day!

24 Hershey's Hugs -or- Hugs with Almonds
24 Hershey's Kisses -or- Kisses with Almonds
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk

FOR DECORATION:

1 tub prepared frosting (your choice including color)

whole Hershey's Hugs

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Remove wrappers from chocolates and rough chop.

In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture alternately with milk to butter mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in chopped chocolate.

Pour batter into prepared baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.

Once cool, frost as desired. Arrange additional chocolate pieces in heart shape on top of cake.

Makes 12 to 16 servings.
