| GMA HOFFS ORANGE KISS ME CAKE | |

1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed 2 cups flour 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1/2 cup shortening 1/2 cup milk 2 eggs 1 cup raisins 1/3 cup chopped walnuts TOPPING: 1/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup chopped walnuts 1 tsp. cinnamon Combine 1/2 cup orange juice and all other ingredients in bowl. Blend at lowest speed for 30 seconds, beat for 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour into greased and floured 13x9-inch cake pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 350°F. Topping: Combine all ingredients. Been looking everywhere for this recipe. My Mom used to make it many years ago. In fact the first time I met my husband, she served him this cake. Will make it for our 38th wedding anniversary, this November. We have been together 43 years!!!
