CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 med. onion, chopped
3 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. Minute rice
6 c. cabbage, coarsely shredded
1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
1/2 c. water

Saute 1 medium onion, chopped in butter. Add, but do not brown 1 pound ground beef, salt, pepper, Minute rice or other. In 2 quart casserole put 3 cups coarsely shredded cabbage. Cover with meat mixture. Then add 3 cups more cabbage. Top with tomato soup, diluted with 1/2 cup water or more. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
