CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 sm. head cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion, minced
1/3 c. rice, uncooked
1 c. tomato soup
1 c. water
Salt and pepper

Wash and prepare cabbage by chopping into large pieces and placing it in the bottom of a greased baking dish. In a large skillet, brown and mince meat and onion, pouring off excess fat. Add rice, blending thoroughly. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour meat mixture on top of cabbage. Cover with tomato soup and water. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
