LICKIN' GOOD BARBECUED RIBS
4 lbs. pork back ribs or pork loin country-style ribs
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. tomato paste
1 (13 3/4 oz.) can condensed beef broth (bouillon)
1 tbsp. freshly grated lemon peel
3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
3 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. curry powder
2 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Arrange ribs on rack. Add water, up to but not touching rack. Cover pan with aluminum foil; bake about 1 1/4 hours, until ribs are tender.

Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients in large saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes to blend flavors. Remove ribs from rack, pour off water and serve.
