BARBECUED RIBS
4 lbs. ribs (country), be sure to use pork ribs
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tbsp. vinegar
1 good squirt lemon (or about 1 tbsp. of "real lemon")

Cover with water, boil for 1 hour. Drain, reserving onions. (This process eliminates ANY fatty taste.)

SAUCE:

1 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. water

Add the onions you reserved from the boiled ribs. Heat sauce until brown sugar melts. Put ribs in baking pan, pour sauce over and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. (Have baked as long as 2 hours and has not hurt it.) Turn 3 or 4 times during baking and baste.
