EASY COBBLER
1 box of yellow cake mix
2 cans your favorite fruit
butter
cinnamon and sugar, combined

Choose the cake mix which has butter in it - this is the best one to use for this recipe. We use peaches or apples as the fruit ingredient in this recipe.

Do not mix the cake mix. Leave the batter dry.

Empty both cans of fruit into a baking dish. Pour cake mix on top.

Using a tablespoon, add scoops of butter, about 3 spoons in 4 rows.

Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar across top. Bake until butter has melted and turned the top of cake mix brown.

Remove from oven and enjoy. Great with Ice Cream.

I have used a recipe almost the same as this, the only difference was gelatin mix is sprinkled on top of the peaches then the cake mix on top of that. I think it just helps to thicken the juice. Either way this is super easy and super yummy, my kids love to help and love to eat it too.

Very good, easy to make I used light cherry filling, some spots untouched by the butter were still dry... I just mixed it in with the cherry, the dry mix still tasted good.

I made this easy cobbler for my family one night and they came back for thirds. They want me to make it for dessert 5 nights a week. I also brought it to a super bowl party and it was the first dish gone even before my mothers world famous gumbo!

To avoid the dry spot issue melt your butter instead of dropping by blobs on top of the dry mix. It's an easy fix

Easy cobbler; great taste. A neat addition to this recipe is to put two cinnamon crunchy granola bars in a zip lock bag and crush (not too fine) and sprinkle with the dry cake mix. You will love the flavor and crunch it adds.
